How do I calculate how much material I need?

The yardage calculation is actually a volume measurement in feet, all divided by 27 to convert to yard(s); (Length in (ft) x Width in (ft) x Thickness in (ft))/27.  Luckily for everyone we have a yardage calculator on every product page and in the resource menu.  We recommended using a minimum of 3" or (.25') depth for all products.  Lastly, not every garden space is a perfect shape for an easy calculaton so always consider adding a little extra to make sure you have enough for the job.

Does someone need to be home at the time of delivery?

Nope.  When you place the order you enter your address, pinpoint the spot for delivery, and add any special delivery instructions.  With all that information and our great drivers we get the job done right the first time!

Can you dump somewhere besides the driveway/street?

Unfortunately we cannot.  Do to the weight of the loaded truck and risk of crushing something hidden, like a drainfield, destroying a beautiful yard with ruts, or causing damage to our trucks we need to stay on firm reliable surfaces.

Can I call in an order?

Absolutely!  We love hearing from our customers and if you would prefer to pickup the phone and talk with someone and discuss product details don't hesitate to call 406-261-9968.

What if I have my own way to haul my own can?  Can I pickup the material myself?

Soon!  We are working on opening up our yard to the public for those who would like to haul it themselves.

What magic stuff do you put in your garden mix to work so well?

Poultry compost is some of the best organic sources of nitrogen available for composting which is our main ingredient.  We then mix in the proper ratios of soil pep, sand, and topsoil.  All these ingredients work together to provide the perfect balance of plant food, water retention, and soil drainage resulting in great soil conditions to grow award winning plants and vegetables.
